Not all beverages will help with your hydration. Water is by far the best fluid to ensure your body fluids stay properly regulated, and it helps keep the body cool. Alcohol and caffeinated beverages such as coffee and tea can add to dehydration because they pull fluids from your body.
Certain foods are great for helping with hydration because they contain high amounts of water. These include cucumber, tomatoes, green peppers, cauliflower, iceberg lettuce, watermelon, strawberries, jelly, and melon.
