Dementia Care
As people live longer, there is inevitably an increase in the number of people living with Dementia in our communities. This not only affects our clients but also families, friends, and other loved ones.
Our aim in delivering Dementia care is to provide good quality care to clients, which takes account of the disease, and its progression, as it pertains to each individual. No two people living with Dementia will experience the same journey with the disease, and it is important our care recognises this and adapts accordingly.
Regardless of what an individual client's circumstances may be, our aim is always to enable our clients to live as normal a life as possible with the illness, within their home.
We work with several organisations to ensure we always provide the highest possible levels of quality care, promoting independence and enabling people to remain at home for as long as possible. The training we give our staff on how to deliver this specialist care is crucial to a good care and life experience for both the client and their family.
Palliative and End-of-Life Care
Many years of experience have developed our firm belief that high quality end-of-life care and support can be hugely beneficial for both the client and their family.
We not only provide care at this difficult time for families, but also compassion and kindness. We want all our clients at this stage of their lives to be cared for in a dignified manner.
Empathy and experience of what families are going through, helps us deliver a level of care that is appropriate to maintain comfort and dignity but also allows families maximum time with their loved one, personal space, and the opportunity to be truly 'present' for their relatives.
We only get one chance to do this right, and through our staff’s dedication and abilities we do our upmost to ensure this is always achieved.
