High quality care within your own home

  • We offer ‘pop in’ visits from ½ hour, ¾ hour or longer, depending on what your requirements are for the visit.
  • We offer a sitting service to support longer periods of time, offering companionship to those who live alone, and respite to family members or other carers.
  • We offer a client-specific sleeping/waking night service, should you require support during night-time hours.
  • We carry out all personal care based on an individual assessment of the client’s needs.
  • We are also able to provide emergency cover for existing or new clients at short notice.

6 reasons why the Penna Homecare team are 'Always There For You'

1. We always strive to provide kind words of motivation when a client is feeling down and struggling with daily tasks. 2. We are a listening ear when someone wants to reminisce about times that have gone by. 3. We are like part of the family, because we care for your loved ones as if they were our own. 4. We are a smiling visitor when the days seem long and lonely. 5. We are an understanding ear when family members are struggling with the deterioration of a loved one. 6. There is always a friendly voice at the end of the phone to offer sound, professional, empathetic advice from a member of staff who knows all of our clients.

Palliative and End-of-Life Care

Through years of experience we believe that quality end-of-life care and support is crucial for both the client and the family.

We provide care, compassion and kindness at this difficult time, to allow loved ones to be cared for in a dignified manner.

We believe that getting this right is crucial for both the client and family.

You only get one chance to do it right, and through our staff’s dedication and abilities we do our upmost to ensure this is always achieved.

Dementia Care

Within the ageing population, people suffering with dementia is on the increase. It not only affects the client but also affects the family and other loved ones.

Our aim is to provide good quality care to clients which allows them to live as normal a life as possible with the illness, within their home.

We work with several organisations to ensure we always provide the highest possible levels of quality care, promoting independence and enabling people to remain at home for as long as possible.
